Nets 91, Hawks 86: Joe Johnson had 23 points as Brooklyn fended off visiting Atlanta for its third consecutive victory.

Mirza Teletovic added 16 points in a reserve role while Alan Anderson had 14 as the Nets overcame a six-point halftime deficit with a 14-0 run to open the third quarter. Shaun Livingston added 12 points in the win.

Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap scored 16 points apiece for the Hawks, who have dropped four of five. Elton Brand and DeMarre Carroll added 10 points each.

Millsap's 12 points guided the Hawks to a 52-46 halftime advantage, but it was short-lived. Back-to-back 3-pointers from Anderson highlighted the pivotal run that surged Brooklyn ahead by eight, and a Teletovic 3-pointer from the right corner stemmed an Atlanta surge as the Nets led 72-67 entering the fourth.

Atlanta responded near the midway point of the final quarter, pulling ahead on a Carroll dunk to punctuate a 7-0 stretch. Johnson knocked down a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession to move Brooklyn back in front, added consecutive jumpers inside two minutes remaining and fed Teletovic for the back-breaking 24-footer with 44 seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Nets PG Deron Williams missed the game with a left ankle injury that has already sidelined him two separate times this season. Head coach Jason Kidd said Williams' ankle swelled up Sunday night, and wouldn't provide a timetable for his return. ... Hawks SF Kyle Korver extended his league-record streak of games with at least one 3-pointer to 104 with a 24-footer less than three minutes into the game. ... Teague had seven of Atlanta's 18 turnovers.
