76ers 101, Trail Blazers 99: Thaddeus Young scored 30 points and Evan Turner added 23 as visiting Philadelphia held off Portland and extended its winning streak to a season-long four games.

Michael Carter-Williams added 16 points and nine rebounds for the 76ers, who won the final four of a six-game road trip after losing their previous 13 contests away from home. Tony Wroten contributed 12 points off the bench and Spencer Hawes collected nine points, nine rebounds and seven assists while knocking down a pair of free throws with 19 seconds left to help Philadelphia seal the win.

LaMarcus Aldridge paced the Trail Blazers with 29 points and 14 rebounds while Damian Lillard scored 17 on 6-of-20 shooting. Robin Lopez recorded 14 points and 15 rebounds for Portland, which fell to 13-4 at home.

The Blazers rallied in the third quarter to take a 76-69 lead into the fourth but the 76ers began the final stanza with an 8-2 burst to draw within a point and used a 13-0 run through the middle of the period to grab a 90-84 edge with 4:28 left. Portland battled back to tie it three times before Young’s putback with 36 seconds left gave Philadelphia the lead for good.

The 76ers came out on fire and led by as much as 16 points in the first quarter before the Blazers recovered to cut it to 52-50 at the break. Portland opened the third quarter with a 12-4 spurt to grab the lead and pushed ahead by nine points with a 12-1 run later in the period before settling for a seven-point gap heading to the final 12 minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Blazers, who set a franchise record with 21 3-pointers at Philadelphia on Dec. 14 and matched it on Friday against the Charlotte Bobcats, struggled to just 3-of-22 from beyond the arc. … Portland dominated the glass 59-43 but committed 18 turnovers. … Young has scored 25 or more points in six of the last seven games.
