Thaddeus Young led the way with 28 points and Evan Turner added 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as visiting Philadelphia held off Sacramento to earn its third straight win.

Tony Wroten contributed 21 points off the bench for the 76ers, who have won three straight for the first time since the opening three games of the season. Young collected a career-high six steals and Spencer Hawes scored 10 points as Philadelphia picked up its third straight road victory after losing 13 in a row away from home.

DeMarcus Cousins had 33 points and 14 boards for the Kings, who committed 23 turnovers. Isaiah Thomas added 23 points and seven assists while Rudy Gay scored 18 for Sacramento.

The 76ers scored at least 30 points in each of the first three quarters to take a 92-77 lead into the fourth before the Kings began to make a move. Jimmer Fredette scored 10 points during a 12-2 surge to cut it to 94-89 less than three minutes into the frame.

Derrick Williams’ basket with 8:07 remaining kept it a five-point gap but Sacramento turned the ball over on three of its next four possessions and went nearly 4 1/2 minutes without a point as Philadelphia regained control. Hawes’ layup with 3:56 left capped a 9-0 run and gave the 76ers a 107-93 cushion as they closed it out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Young has recorded 25 or more points in five of the last six games. … Fredette scored all of his season-high 15 points in the fourth quarter. … The 76ers are 3-2 on a six-game road trip that concludes at Portland on Saturday.
