Warriors 115, Suns 86: Stephen Curry recorded his third career triple-double with 14 points, a career-high 16 assists and a career-high 13 rebounds as Golden State pounded visiting Phoenix.

Klay Thompson scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting and David Lee recorded 17 points and seven rebounds as the Warriors picked up their fourth straight win. Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes each added 11 points off the bench for Golden State, which begins a seven-game East coast road trip at Cleveland on Sunday.

P.J. Tucker recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who had a three-game winning streak come to an end. Channing Frye, Miles Plumlee and Markieff Morris each scored nine points.

Curry knocked down a jumper with 8:26 left in the first quarter to make it 8-7 and the Warriors never trailed again. It was 28-22 after the first quarter and Phoenix pulled to within 34-32 just over four minutes into the second before going cold.

Thompson scored five straight points to spark a 10-0 run and Golden State spread the lead out to 59-40 when Andre Iguodala’s 3-pointer proved to be the final points of the first half. The Suns cut the deficit to 16 points four minutes into the second but Iguodala and Thompson buried back-to-back 3-pointers off assists from Curry to make it a 73-51 advantage.

Golden State closed the third with an 85-64 lead and Curry found Thompson for another 3-pointer on the opening play of the fourth to make it a 24-point edge and end Curry’s night. The lead swelled to 100-71 before the Warriors emptied the bench.

Phoenix ended up shooting 36 percent from the field and went 4-of-23 from 3-point range in suffering just its second loss in 10 games. The 86 points marked the Suns’ lowest scoring output of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Curry is the first Golden State player to put up at least 14 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists since Chris Mullin did it against the Suns in 1995. … Curry's lone 3-pointer tied him with coach Mark Jackson (734) for 121st on the all-time NBA list. Jackson, who once recorded 16 assists and 13 rebounds in a 1994 game against the Warriors, needed 1,010 more games to hit that many 3-pointers. … Phoenix had scored at least 100 points in each of the previous eight games.
