Timberwolves 120, Wizards 98: Kevin Love tallied 25 points and 11 rebounds for his league-leading 26th double-double and Nikola Pekovic added 18 points and 10 boards as Minnesota snapped visiting Washington's three-game winning streak.

J.J. Barea scored 17 points and fellow reserve Alexey Shved added 13 for the Timberwolves, who improved to 9-4 at home. Ricky Rubio collected 11 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals as Minnesota snapped a brief two-game skid.

John Wall scored 26 points and dished out seven assists for the Wizards, who have lost four straight at Minnesota dating to 2009. Bradley Beal added 14 points but had to be carried off the court by teammates after suffering an apparent left leg injury with 4:24 left in the game.

Wall scored five points during a 9-0 Washington run to start the game, but Love scored 11 straight points for the Timberwolves as they pulled even at 15 with 5:20 left in the first quarter. Minnesota went 14-for-23 from the field during a 39-point second quarter to open up a 61-47 halftime advantage.

The lead was never smaller than 12 in the second half, but the Wizards wouldn't go away and were within 92-79 after Beal's 3-pointer with 10:27 left. Shved's 3-pointer capped a 10-2 run as Minnesota spread it out to 109-85 with less than five minutes left and coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Minnesota's 39 points in the second quarter marked its highest total in any period this season. … The Wizards dropped to 0-4 when they have three or more days off before a game. … Wall has scored 20 or more points in a career-best five straight games.
