Suns 103, Nuggets 99: Markieff Morris scored 25 points and led a fourth-quarter surge as visiting Phoenix stormed back from a 21-point deficit to stun Denver.

Gerald Green went 6-of-12 from 3-point range en route to 19 points and Goran Dragic collected 17 points and six assists for the Suns, who have won six of seven. Marcus Morris added 14 points to aid a 64-point effort from the reserves.

Wilson Chandler scored 15 points and Randy Foye had 14 as the Nuggets finished up a four-game homestand with a 1-3 mark. J.J. Hickson recorded 13 points and 14 rebounds and Ty Lawson contributed 13 points and seven assists.

Green’s 3-pointer with 5:52 left gave Phoenix a 94-90 lead before Denver responded with a 7-2 run to reclaim the advantage. The Suns recovered with five straight, taking the lead on Dragic’s free throws with 2:16 to play and putting it away when Markieff Morris split a pair of free throws to make it a four-point game with 4.6 seconds left.

The Nuggets led by as much as 21 points in the second quarter and took a 62-48 lead into the break. Three 3-pointers from Green late in the third quarter helped bring the Suns back within 10 at the end of the third, and the Morris twins combined for 14 points during a 16-6 run beginning the final stanza that knotted it at 88 with 8:21 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Nuggets lost as many games on the homestand as they did in their own building all of last season, when their 38-3 home record led the NBA. … Suns C Miles Plumlee grabbed 12 rebounds - his third straight game with double-digit boards. … Darrell Arthur added 10 points off the bench for Denver but fouled out in just 22 minutes.
