76ers 121, Nets 120 (OT): Evan Turner converted the game-winning layup at the buzzer as host Philadelphia stunned Brooklyn.

After Paul Pierce put the Nets ahead with a 3-pointer from the right wing with 16.9 seconds left, Turner missed a short jumper on the ensuing possession but Philadelphia retained the ball. Turner drove to the hoop and threw up a shot that bounced several times on the rim before falling in.

Turner finished with 29 points and 10 rebounds and Thaddeus Young added 25 points for Philadelphia, which improved to 4-1 in overtime. Alan Anderson had 26 points, Pierce added 24 points and 10 rebounds and Brook Lopez scored 22 for Brooklyn, which has dropped back-to-back games.

Turner's 18 first-half points guided Philadelphia to a 60-57 advantage at the break. The Nets rallied to tie it three times in the third quarter before finally surging ahead on Anderson's 3-pointer with 7:11 left in the period, then rode eight straight points from Anderson to an 83-82 lead entering the fourth.

The teams traded several leads in the fourth, with the Nets pulling ahead 103-101 on Pierce's 3-pointer from the left wing with 4:24 remaining. Four straight points from Young helped Philadelphia draw even, and Deron Williams rimmed out the potential game-winning shot at the buzzer to send the game to extra time.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia rookie Michael Carter-Williams had 15 points and 10 assists in his first game back after missing seven contests with a bacterial infection on his right knee. ... The 76ers have lost 12 straight games decided in regulation, and are just 4-18 in those contests this season. ... Philadelphia has surrendered an average of 129.7 points over its last three games.
