Trail Blazers 111, Pistons 109 (OT): Damian Lillard scored eight of his 23 points in overtime, including a spinning, fadeaway jumper with one-tenth of a second left as visiting Portland rallied for its fourth straight win.

LaMarcus Aldridge tallied 27 points and 12 rebounds and Nicolas Batum added 18 points for the Trail Blazers, who were only 7-of-26 from 3-point range one night after hitting a franchise-record 21 3-pointers in a win at Philadelphia. Robin Lopez chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds and Wesley Matthews added 14 points for Portland.

Josh Smith scored a season-high 31 points and Brandon Jennings collected 15 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for the Pistons, who dropped to 1-9 against Western Conference opponents. Greg Monroe and Rodney Stuckey scored 17 apiece for Detroit, and Andre Drummond added 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Portland rallied from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit and pulled even at 99 on a pair of Matthews free throws with 30.8 seconds left, but both teams failed to convert on drives to basket in the final seconds of regulation. Lillard took over in the extra period and did what he couldn't at the end of regulation, driving into the lane and spinning to his right to create enough separation for the winning shot.

The Trail Blazers used a 10-0 run to take a seven-point lead after one quarter and scored the first two baskets of the second quarter to stretch it to 33-22. Smith scored eight points during a 16-0 spurt as Detroit shot ahead and took a 51-50 advantage into the break, and the Pistons went 12-of-22 from the field in the third quarter to push it to 84-73 going to the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Batum was 3-of-7 from 3-point range and is the only player in the NBA who has made at least one 3-pointer in all of his team's games this season. … Aldridge has recorded double-doubles in seven of the past eight games. … Detroit held a 53-47 edge on the boards and outscored Portland 68-42 in the paint.
