Clippers 113, Wizards 97: Chris Paul recorded 38 points and 12 assists as visiting Los Angeles finished off its seven-game road trip by crushing Washington.

Paul went 11-for-14 from the field, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, in his first 30-plus effort since posting 42 points on Oct. 31. Blake Griffin added 16 points and nine rebounds, DeAndre Jordan had 15 and 10 and Jamal Crawford scored 17 as the Clippers finished up the road trip with a 4-3 mark.

John Wall did his best Paul impression with 24 points and 12 assists, but it was not enough to keep the Wizards from a fourth straight loss. Kevin Seraphin added 16 points off the bench while Trevor Booker and Martell Webster scored 12 apiece for Washington.

Jared Dudley, who finished with 16 points, knocked down a jumper on the opening possession and the Clippers never trailed. Dudley’s 3-pointer with just over five minutes left in the first made it 25-15 and Los Angeles led by as much as 16 points in the second quarter before settling for a 59-46 lead at the break.

The Clippers scored on their first six possessions in the third quarter and pushed the lead out to 86-64 on Paul’s 3-pointer with 3:34 left in the stanza before a brief spurt cut it to 89-77 heading into the fourth. Paul’s 3-pointer from over 30 feet as the shot clock was dying pushed it to 109-89 with 4:13 left and Los Angeles cruised to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Paul, who also had three steals, is the only player since 2009 to record at least 38 points, 12 assists and three steals in a game, and he has accomplished the feat twice this season. … The Wizards outscored the Clippers 54-36 in the paint but went just 3-for-14 from 3-point range. … Jordan’s double-double was his fifth in eight games this month.
