Spurs 109, Bucks 77: Tim Duncan dominated with 21 points and 16 rebounds in only 24 minutes of action as visiting San Antonio steamrolled Milwaukee.

Tony Parker scored 15 points and Kawhi Leonard added 13 for the Spurs, who led by 23 points at halftime and were never threatened while improving to 9-2 on the road. Jeff Ayres grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds as San Antonio posted a 52-37 edge on the boards.

Nate Wolters had 18 points and seven assists off the bench for the Bucks, who own the second-worst record in the league at 5-17. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 15 points and eight rebounds for Milwaukee, which shot just 34.5 percent from the field.

The double-double was only the third of the season for Duncan but it was the future Hall of Famer’s second huge performance in four games. Duncan had 23 points and a season-best 21 rebounds in a victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Dec. 2.

San Antonio scored the first nine points and cruised throughout the contest. The Spurs led by 18 late in the first quarter en route to a 63-40 halftime lead and expanded the advantage to 38 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Duncan was 9-of-12 from the field and collected six of San Antonio’s 17 offensive rebounds. … The Bucks are just 2-9 at home and have already scored fewer than 80 points six times this season. … Spurs C Tiago Splitter (calf) missed his second straight game.
