Suns 114, Lakers 108: Goran Dragic scored 12 of his 31 points in the final quarter and Marcus Morris added a season-best 22 on 10-of-13 shooting as visiting Phoenix knocked off Los Angeles.

Kobe Bryant scored 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting in 29 minutes in his second game since returning from last April’s Achilles’ tendon injury. The Lakers have lost both games with Bryant after winning six of their previous eight.

Eric Bledsoe also had a strong performance for the Suns with 18 points, nine assists and three steals. Markieff Morris added 15 points and P.J. Tucker collected 11 rebounds as Phoenix won its third straight game.

Pau Gasol added 19 points for Los Angeles and his two free throws pulled the Lakers within 99-95 with 3:10 remaining. Marcus Morris answered with a jumper and Dragic scored a fast-break hoop as the Suns thwarted the challenge.

Phoenix led by as many as 14 points in the second quarter before settling for a 56-51 lead at the break. The Suns scored the first nine points of the third quarter but Los Angeles cut the margin to 79-74 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: F Jordan Hill, G Jodie Meeks and F Nick Young each scored 13 points for Los Angeles. … The victory is only the second for the Suns in their last 11 road games against the Lakers. … Bryant is averaging 14.5 points and has committed 11 turnovers in his two outings.
