Bobcats 115, Warriors 111:
Kemba Walker scored 31 points and hit the key free throws down the stretch as Charlotte held off visiting Golden State.

Gerald Henderson added 24 points and Ramon Sessions scored 13 off the bench for the Bobcats, who have won two straight. Josh McRoberts collected 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Ben Gordon scored 12 off the bench for the Bobcats.

Stephen Curry poured in 35 of his 43 points in the second half but could not help the Warriors avoid a 1-2 road trip. Klay Thompson added 22 points, David Lee added 14 points and 16 rebounds and Harrison Barnes recorded 14 and nine as Golden State dropped to 6-8 on the road.

Thompson drained a 3-pointer on the opening possession of the fourth to make it a one-possession game, and four free throws by Curry in a span of 30 seconds knotted it at 88 with 8:52 to play. The Bobcats never surrendered the lead and jumped back on top as Gordon’s 3-pointer capped a 7-0 burst.

Anthony Tolliver and Walker hit 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to stretch it out to 103-92. Curry knocked down a 3-pointer to chop it down to 111-109 with 11 seconds left, but Walker hit four free throws in the final 10 seconds to seal the win.

The Warriors shot 34.9 percent from the field in the first half and hit just 1-of-12 attempts from beyond the arc as the Bobcats took a 53-41 lead into the break. Curry and Thompson missed all eight of their attempts from 3-point range.

As cold as Curry and Thompson were in the first half was as hot as the two got in the third quarter while the Golden State offense came alive. Thompson’s third 3-pointer of the period cut the deficit to 67-58, and eight points from Curry in the final 2:16 send the Warriors into the fourth trailing 83-77.
