Nuggets 103, 76ers 92: Nate Robinson scored 20 points off the bench and J.J. Hickson collected 12 points and 10 rebounds as visiting Denver came alive late to clip Philadelphia.

Jordan Hamilton scored nine of his 13 points in a 67-second span in the fourth quarter for the Nuggets, who snapped a two-game slide without starting point guard Ty Lawson, who sat with a hamstring injury. Randy Foye added 13 points and Wilson Chandler scored 10 in a balanced attack.

Tony Wroten scored 20 points to lead the 76ers, who fell for the sixth time in seven games. Spencer Hawes and Thaddeus Young added 14 points apiece while Hollis Thompson recorded 10 points and nine rebounds.

The game was tied at 77 going into the fourth quarter and it went back and forth for the first five minutes until Hickson grabbed an offensive rebound and put it back in to give the Nuggets an 88-86 edge. Hickson assisted on Darrell Arthur’s layup the next time down to stretch it to four points.

Hamilton took over from there, hitting 3-pointers on each of the next three possessions as Denver grabbed its first double-digit lead at 99-88 with 3:21 to play. The Nuggets closed the game on a 17-6 run to put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The 76ers led by as many as 10 points in the second quarter and took a 53-49 lead into the half behind 14 points from Wroten. … Andre Miller started in place of Lawson and collected eight points and seven assists in 29 minutes. … Philadelphia rookie PG Michael Carter-Williams (right knee infection) stayed in the hospital overnight and missed his second straight game. He is out indefinitely.
