Celtics 103, Cavaliers 86: Jeff Green scored a season-best 31 points and Avery Bradley added 21 on 9-of-11 shooting as host Boston rolled past Cleveland.

Brandon Bass contributed 12 points and eight rebounds and Jared Sullinger had 12 points on four 3-pointers for the Celtics, who jumped out to an 18-2 lead and were never challenged. Jordan Crawford added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his third career triple-double as Boston improved to 3-5 at home.

Dion Waiters scored 21 points for the Cavaliers, who have lost five straight games and eight of their last nine. Kyrie Irving tallied 17 points and Anderson Varejao had 10 points and 12 rebounds as Cleveland dropped to 1-9 on the road.

Boston dominated from the outset as Cleveland was a woeful 4-of-19 from the field during a 10-point first-quarter. The Celtics led by 18 entering the second quarter and boosted their lead to 20 early in the stanza en route to a 55-39 halftime advantage.

Green’s 3-pointer increased Boston’s lead to 76-51 with 3:13 left in the third quarter. The Celtics led by 21 entering the final quarter and the Cavaliers never crept closer than within 16 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Celtics were without F Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and G Courtney Lee (knee). … Six of Cleveland’s nine road losses are by 15 or more points. … Boston was 11-of-23 from 3-point range, while the Cavaliers were 4-of-18.
