Lakers 100, Kings 86: Xavier Henry scored 12 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter and Pau Gasol had 20 points and 10 rebounds to help host Los Angeles defeat Sacramento and stretch its winning streak to three games.

Jodie Meeks added 14 points as the Lakers evened their record at 7-7. Jordan Hill contributed 10 points and 13 rebounds and Steve Blake recorded 12 assists.

Greivis Vasquez scored 20 points for the Kings, who went 0-2 in their two-day stay in Los Angeles against the Clippers and Lakers. DeMarcus Cousins added 17 points and rookie Ben McLemore had 15.

Sacramento trailed by seven at halftime but pulled within 63-61 on a basket by Luc Richard Mbah a Moute with 4:43 left in the third quarter. Gasol responded with a basket and Meeks scored consecutive hoops during a quarter-ending 10-0 run that gave Los Angeles a 12-point lead.

The Kings trailed by single digits after Jimmer Fredette’s 3-pointer 15 seconds into the final quarter before Nick Young drained a jumper to start a six-point run to make it a 15-point margin. Sacramento was unable to make a sustained run down the stretch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Los Angeles has won 10 of its last 11 home games against Sacramento. … The Kings have allowed 100 or more points in each of their last four games. … Henry had a total of 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting over the previous four games before breaking out for his second-best output of the season.
