Grizzlies 97, Kings 86: Zach Randolph scored nine of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and grabbed 10 rebounds as Memphis knocked off host Sacramento.

Marc Gasol had 19 points, nine assists and eight rebounds and Mike Conley contributed 19 points and nine assists for the Grizzlies. Memphis has recorded back-to-back wins to start a four-game road trip.

Travis Outlaw scored 18 points and Isaiah Thomas added 15 for the Kings, who have lost seven of eight games. Marcus Thornton added 12 points.

Sacramento was within 82-79 after a 3-pointer by Outlaw with 7:18 left but missed their next seven field-goal attempts and its only basket the rest of the way was John Salmons’ layup with 56 seconds remaining. Randolph scored six points in the final 2:02 to help the Grizzlies seal it.

Memphis held Sacramento to 31.9 percent from the field in the first half while building a 47-34 edge. The Grizzlies stretched the lead to 20 early in the third quarter before the Kings closed strongly to trail by nine entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Randolph was 9-of-12 from the field and the Grizzlies shot 55.6 percent to Sacramento’s 37.9. … The Kings received 57 points from their bench and only 29 from the starters. … The Grizzlies have won three straight in Sacramento after losing in 28 of their previous 32 visits.
