Nets 100, Suns 98 (OT): Joe Johnson scored 13 points, including the tying shot late in regulation and the game-winning layup as time expired in overtime to help Brooklyn overcome the loss of Deron Williams and beat Phoenix for its first road win of the season.

Brook Lopez had 25 of his 27 points after halftime to go with seven rebounds and three blocks for the Nets, who had lost their first four road contests. Shaun Livingston scored a season-high 18 off the bench to make up for the loss of Williams, who left with a sprained right ankle less than five minutes into the game - X-rays were negative - and finished with two points.

Goran Dragic recorded 19 points and 10 assists as the Suns lost their first home game in five chances. P.J. Tucker scored 17 points and Eric Bledose had 15 points and seven rebounds.

Brooklyn went up 98-84 in the extra session on Livingston's free throw with 1:47 remaining, but Phoenix scored the next four points to tied it at 98 with 56 seconds to play. Both teams missed opportunities before Johnson collected a defensive rebound and dashed down the court for the game-winner.

Livingston scored 10 points in the final 3:24 of the first half to spark Brooklyn on a 14-4 run to close within 50-46 of Phoenix at intermission, and the Nets continued that run by scoring the first 16 points of the third quarter to take a 62-50 lead with 5:22 remaining in the period. The Suns regained the lead by opening the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run, and the advantage went back and forth until Johnson’s shot with 29 seconds left tied it at 92 and forced overtime.
