LaMarcus Aldridge had 22 points and 14 rebounds as visiting Portland completed a home-and-home sweep of Sacramento.

Wesley Matthews added 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting for the Trail Blazers, who defeated the Kings 104-91 on Friday. Robin Lopez had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Nicolas Batum scored 12 points.

DeMarcus Cousins had 33 points and 12 rebounds for Sacramento, which lost its fifth consecutive game. Ben McLemore scored 13 points and Isaiah Thomas added 12 on 6-of-10 shooting.

Portland led by 15 points after three quarters and stretched the lead to 80-58 on a 3-pointer by Matthews with 9:12 play. The Kings threatened to get back into the game with a 13-2 run that pulled them within 85-77 with 4:31 to play before the Trail Blazers held off the charge.

Aldridge had 16 points and 11 rebounds in the first half as Portland led 45-38 at the break. The Trail Blazers finished with a 52-33 edge on the boards.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Aldridge has scored at least 20 points in each of Portland’s six games, the best season-opening streak since Clyde Drexler put together 12 consecutive to begin the 1988-89 season. … Cousins scored 25 of his 33 points in the second half. … Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard had just four points on 1-of-15 shooting.
