Bucks 109, Cavaliers 104: O.J. Mayo scored 28 points, including four key free throws late, as Milwaukee edged visiting Cleveland after blowing a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Gary Neal added 23 points off the bench for the Bucks, who got a tip-in basket from Caron Butler to take the lead for good 105-104 with 24.8 seconds left. Zaza Pachulia and John Henson each had 14 points and nine rebounds for Milwaukee, and Butler tallied 10.

Kyrie Irving had 29 points and eight assists to lead Cleveland, but turned the ball over with the Cavaliers down by a point and 14 seconds left. Dion Waiters added 21 points and C.J. Miles had 14 off the bench for Cleveland, which dropped to 0-3 on the road.

Mayo scored 11 in the first quarter, including 3-for-3 from behind the 3-point arc, and the Bucks scored 12 of the final 16 points for a 30-23 lead. Milwaukee pushed the lead as high as eight in the second quarter before Waiters scored seven in the final five minutes to bring the Cavaliers within 55-53 at halftime.

Cleveland poked its head in front twice in the third quarter, but the Bucks answered to take an 83-79 lead into the final period with nine points from Mayo. Neal scored the first five points of the fourth to start an 11-2 run that gave Milwaukee a 13-point cushion before the Cavaliers roared back to take a 104-103 lead with one minute left on Miles’ 3-pointer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cleveland F Anthony Bennett, the first pick in the 2013 draft, made a 3-pointer early in the second quarter for the first basket of his career after missing his first 16 attempts. … Former Bucks All-Star G Michael Redd officially announced his retirement Wednesday after averaging 19 points in 12 seasons – 11 with Milwaukee. … Bucks F Ekpe Udoh returned to the lineup after missing the first three games with a knee injury and contributed four points and five rebounds, while F Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) and C Larry Sanders (thumb) sat out.
