Pacers 99, Heat 92: Roy Hibbert led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds as host Indiana re-established its dominance on the inside and evened the Eastern Conference finals at 2-2.

Lance Stephenson added 20 points, George Hill scored 19 and David West recorded 14 points and 12 boards for the Pacers, who outrebounded Miami 49-30 and outscored the Heat in the paint 50-32. The series shifts back to Miami for Game 5 on Thursday.

LeBron James scored 24 points before fouling out and Mario Chalmers added 20 for the Heat. Miami had used an advantage in the paint to run away with Game 3.

Indiana used an 8-0 run to grab a 94-89 lead after Hibbert’s three-point play with 1:30 left. James, who was called for the foul on Hibbert’s shot, snapped the drought with a 3-pointer but was called for his sixth foul on a moving screen with 56 seconds to play as the Pacers held on for the win.

Indiana held an 81-72 edge with just over eight minutes left when a strange sequence ended with the Pacers being called for a shot-clock violation. Miami flipped the momentum at that point with an 11-2 burst, capped by James’ 3-pointer that knotted it at 83 with 6:15 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Miami F Chris Bosh appeared to injure his ankle with 5:05 left in the third and went to the locker room.
