Heat 103, Pacers 102 (OT): LeBron James drove for the game-winning layup at the end of overtime and finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as host Miami took a wild Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals over Indiana.

Paul George was hit on the elbow on a 3-point attempt by Dwyane Wade with 2.2 seconds left in overtime and hit all three free throws to give the Pacers a 102-101 lead. James took the inbounds pass after a timeout and drove hard down the lane for an open layup just in front of the buzzer.

George scored 25 of his 27 points in the second half and overtime and David West scored 26 for Indiana, which elected to sit Roy Hibbert on the final play instead of leaving him in to protect the rim on a potential drive. Miami hosts Game 2 on Friday.

Ray Allen had a chance to put it away at the line in regulation but split the pair of free throws, leaving the Heat up by three with 17 seconds to play. Indiana called timeout and drew up the play for George, who buried a deep 3-pointer from the left wing with 0.7 seconds left to force overtime.

Wade scored 19 points and Chris Bosh added 17, including a key three-point play in overtime.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Indiana led by as many as seven points in second quarter and took a one-point edge into the fourth quarter. It went back and forth throughout the final period, with the Heat grabbing a 91-89 lead when Wade drove for a layup with 42 seconds left. … Miami was 16-of-25 from the free throw line, with James (4-of-7) and Wade (1-of-4) both struggling. … The Heat got 16 point on 7-of-7 shooting, five rebounds and three blocks in 18 minutes off the bench from Chris Andersen.
