Bobcats 105, Cavaliers 98: Kemba Walker scored 24 points and dished out seven assists and Josh McRoberts added 20 points and eight rebounds as host Charlotte finished the season by matching a season-best three-game winning streak.

Gerald Henderson chipped in 15 points for the Bobcats (21-61), who avoided finishing with the league's worst record for a second consecutive season when Orlando lost at Miami on Wednesday.

Kyrie Irving had 24 points and 10 assists and Dion Waiters scored 16 off the bench for Cleveland (24-58), which finished the season by losing 16 of its last 18. The Cavs had won the previous six meetings with the Bobcats.

Charlotte built a huge lead early, holding the Cavs to 6-for-17 shooting in the first quarter en route to a 34-16 advantage. The margin was as wide as 24 before Cleveland chipped it down to 53-47 at halftime.

Cleveland came all the way back to claim its only lead at 77-76 on Waiters' layup with 9:30 left, but Walker answered with a 3-pointer to set off a 7-0 run that put Charlotte ahead for good.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Walker has played in every game in each of his first two NBA seasons. … Charlotte won eight of its final 10 home games. … Cavaliers PF Tristan Thompson had eight points and 10 rebounds, snapping his streak of three straight double-doubles.
