Luol Deng added 18 points and eight assists and Marco Belinelli contributed 16 points for the Bulls, who pulled within a half-game of idle Atlanta for the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Chicago holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Hawks.

Orlando led 23-21 after one quarter but went cold in the middle two periods. The Magic were 10-for-32 from the field in the second and third quarters and never recovered.

Kirk Hinrich hit back-to-back 3-pointers to set off an 8-0 run late in the second quarter that pushed Chicago's cushion to double digits, and the Bulls took a 49-37 advantage into halftime. Belinelli scored eight points during a 10-2 spurt to start the second half, making it 59-39, and the lead didn't dip below 16 the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bulls C Joakim Noah (foot) and PF Taj Gibson (knee) returned to the lineup in reserve roles, as did SG Richard Hamilton, who served a one-game suspension Sunday. … Orlando dropped to 0-28 when scoring fewer than 90 points. … Chicago ends the regular season at home against Washington on Wednesday while the Magic wraps up its campaign at Miami the same night.
