Bucks 131, Bobcats 102: Larry Sanders collected 24 points and 15 rebounds and Monta Ellis added 19 points, 14 assists and six steals as Milwaukee had little trouble with visiting Charlotte.

Ersan Ilyasova hit all four of his 3-point attempts en route to 22 points and J.J. Redick scored 20 off the bench for the Bucks, who notched a season high in total points and moved to within 1 1/2 games of the Boston Celtics for the No. 7 spot in the Eastern Conference.

Kemba Walker scored 27 points and Gerald Henderson chipped in 17 as the Bobcats dropped their 11th straight road game.

Ilyasova hit two from beyond the arc and Brandon Jennings added another in a 17-9 burst ending the second quarter to send Milwaukee into the locker room with a 69-60 lead. Jennings got things started with a four-point play to begin the third quarter and Ellis started to catch fire at the end of the period, nailing a 3-pointer and scoring five points on a 7-0 run to close the third and make it 100-84 heading into the final period.

Redick’s jumper with 9:27 left pushed the lead out to 110-90 and the Bucks were never threatened in the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Milwaukee’s previous season high was 122 points. The Bucks also matched a season low with two turnovers in the first half. … The Bobcats committed 21 turnovers which led to 31 points for Milwaukee. … The Bucks went 14-for-27 from 3-point range, led by Ilyasova, Jennings (4-of-9) and Ellis (3-of-5).
