Pistons 108, Raptors 98: Greg Monroe scored 24 points and Jose Calderon chipped in 19 and nine assists in his return to Toronto as visiting Detroit rallied in the fourth quarter to salvage a split of the season series with the Raptors.

Rodney Stuckey scored 18 points and Jonas Jerebko added 15 to lead a strong bench effort for the Pistons, who snapped a three-game losing streak by winning for only the second time in 15 games. Khris Middleton contributed 11 points as Detroit's reserves combined for 51.

Rudy Gay poured in 34 points and rookie Jonas Valanciunas added 17 for the Raptors, who have dropped seven of eight overall and four straight at home.

Toronto led by one at halftime and stretched it to 79-75 after three quarters. It was 81-77 before the Pistons ripped off a 13-0 run to take command.

Gay hit a 3-pointer to give Toronto a 94-93 lead with 4:31 left, but Middleton answered with a 3-pointer at the other end to set off an 8-0 spurt, and Detroit didn't trail again.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pistons F Jason Maxiell will miss the remainder of the season after having surgery Sunday to repair a detached retina. … The Raptors showed a video tribute to Calderon on the scoreboard prior to the game. The point guard played his first 7 1/2 seasons in Toronto before being traded to Detroit in a three-team deal Jan. 30. … Valanciunas has scored in double figures in 12 of the past 13 games.
