Celtics 93, Cavaliers 92: Jeff Green hit a layup at the buzzer to cap a 14-point fourth-quarter comeback as visiting Boston rallied to snap a five-game losing streak.

The Celtics closed the game on a 21-6 run to avoid their second six-game skid of the season and win for the first time in three games since starters Kevin Garnett and Courtney Lee were sidelined with ankle injuries. Brandon Bass had a season-high 22 points and Green finished with 21.

Wayne Ellington led six players in double figures with 16 points for Cleveland, which lost its sixth straight.

The Cavaliers, who trailed by 12 in the first half, took their largest lead at 86-72 on back-to-back baskets by Marreese Speights with just over eight minutes remaining. Cleveland held a 90-82 advantage after Shaun Livingston's layup with 2:56 to go but would not record another field goal.

Paul Pierce's basket moments later kicked off a 6-0 Boston burst and he scored again to get the Celts within 92-91 with 32 seconds left. After Livingston missed a short jumper with 10.9 remaining, Boston was given a free timeout when officials had to review a play with two seconds left and coach Doc Rivers drew up the game-winner, which saw Avery Bradley hit Green curling toward the hoop for a scoop shot off the glass.
