Nuggets 101, Kings 95: Danilo Gallinari scored 19 points to lead six players in double figures as host Denver won its 15th consecutive game.

Kenneth Faried had 17 points and nine rebounds and Andre Iguodala added 15 and eight assists as the Nuggets extended their home winning streak to 17 games and beat Sacramento for the ninth straight time.

DeMarcus Cousins had 24 points and 15 rebounds and John Salmons scored 18 for the Kings, who lost for the 13th time in their last 14 road games and dipped to an NBA-worst 6-30 away from home.

Denver's streak appeared in jeopardy when Sacramento went on a 14-3 run late in the third quarter to take a one-point lead into the final 12 minutes. The Nuggets went ahead to stay with an 8-0 spurt capped by Gallinari's three-point play for an 82-76 lead with just over 8 1/2 minutes to play.

The Kings cut the deficit to two on a 3-pointer by Isaiah Thomas and were within three points before Kosta Koufos hit back-to-back baskets to extend the lead to 93-86. Andre Miller's three-point play with 51 seconds left made it 98-92.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Koufos had 13 points and nine boards as Denver improved to a league-best 32-3 at home. ... Nuggets PG and leading scorer Ty Lawson (heel) and reserve Wilson Chandler (shoulder) each sat out their second straight games. ... Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson announced Saturday that the city has reached a deal with a group of investors to build a new arena and keep the franchise from relocating to Seattle. The group's bid will be submitted to the league early next month.
