Bobcats 100, Celtics 74: Gerald Henderson scored a career-high 35 points as Charlotte snapped a 10-game losing streak by crushing visiting Boston.

Ben Gordon added 17 points off the bench and Josh McRoberts collected 13 and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats, who have beaten the Celtics twice at home. Charlotte improved to 3-18 over its last 21 games, with two of those three wins coming over Boston.

Jeff Green and Jordan Crawford scored 14 points apiece as the Celtics were held to a season-low 27 field goals. Boston held out Paul Pierce for rest and did not play anyone more than Green’s 30 minutes.

The Celtics had it tied at 39 in the second quarter before falling apart. The Bobcats took a 49-46 lead into the half and opened the third with a 12-3 burst to pull away.

Charlotte went up 76-61 after the third and pushed it to 89-65 on McRoberts’ basket with 6:22 left. Henderson went 11-of-19 from the field and 12-of-12 from the free throw line before being pulled with 3:46 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Boston shot 51.4 percent in the first half but was held to 28 points on 27.6 percent shooting after the break. … The Bobcats outrebounded the Celtics 48-29 and outscored them in the paint 40-24. … Boston F Shavlik Randolph made his team debut after signing a 10-day contract on Monday. He scored four points in 18 minutes off the bench.
