Curry, who hit 11 3-pointers and scored 54 points in a 109-105 loss at New York on Feb. 27, made nine of his 18 shots from the field and put the Warriors ahead by 27 when he scored with 2:51 left in the third quarter.

The Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony returned after missing three games with a knee injury and scored 14 points on 4-of-15 shooting. Chris Copeland had 15 points off the bench for New York, which opened its five-game road trip by shooting an NBA season-low 27.4 percent from the field.

After missing one game with a sore knee, David Lee recorded his league-best 42nd double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds to go along with eight assists. Golden State won for the sixth time in its last 18 games and remained seven games back of fifth-place Denver in the West.

Klay Thompson made four of his seven shots from beyond the arc and finished with 23 points for Golden State, which recorded its largest margin of victory at 29 points while holding the Knicks to 40 total points in the last three quarters.

New York, which fell into a tie for second in the East with Indiana, missed 22 of its 27 shots from 3-point range and never threatened after trailing by 15 at the half. Anthony had a team-high 10 boards for the Knicks, who were outrebounded 59-42.
