Nets 93, Hawks 80: Brook Lopez scored 14 of his 18 points in the third quarter as visiting Brooklyn cruised past struggling Atlanta.

One night after hitting a team-record 11 3-pointers in a rout of Washington, Deron Williams made just two 3s but finished with 17 points for the Nets, who snapped an eight-game losing streak at Philips Arena. Andray Blatche made nine of his 11 shots en route to 18 points off the bench.

Al Horford had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Hawks, losers of five of six and now alone in seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Atlanta raced to an 11-1 lead out of the gate on the strength of three Johan Petro baskets and a Kyle Korver 3-pointer. Brooklyn clawed back and took the lead for good when Keith Bogans' 3-pointer in the opening minute of the second quarter made it 26-25.

Williams' second 3-pointer gave the Nets a 51-37 lead at the break and Lopez took over after halftime, scoring 10 of Brooklyn's final 13 points in the third to push the advantage to 76-57 entering the fourth. Atlanta, which forced only nine turnovers, did not threaten down the stretch.
