Bobcats 108, Pistons 101 (OT): Kemba Walker scored 20 points and Ben Gordon added 18 as visiting Charlotte recovered from a double-digit, first-half deficit to end Detroit’s season-best four-game winning streak.

Ramon Sessions scored 15 points, Tyrus Thomas tallied six of his 13 in overtime and Bismack Biyombo had 10 points and a career-high 17 rebounds for the Bobcats, who won for just the second time in 21 games.

Tayshaun Prince scored 21 points, Greg Monroe had 18 and 14 rebounds and Rodney Stuckey also scored 18 points for the Pistons.

Charlotte never led by more than one point until Thomas scored the first basket of overtime and held Detroit to 1-of-8 shooting in the extra session. The Bobcats rallied back from a 13-point, first-half deficit to take their first lead in the opening minute of the third quarter. Overtime was forced by Walker’s driving layup with 7.8 seconds left.

Detroit scored the game’s first eight points and connected on 24 of its first 32 field-goal attempts. The Pistons led 58-45 after Stuckey’s 3-pointer with 4:48 left before Charlotte used a 14-2 half-ending run to trail 60-59 at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Charlotte ended a five-game losing skid against the Pistons. … The Bobcats had 19 offensive rebounds with Biyombo corralling seven. … Detroit committed 22 turnovers and finished at 50 percent from the field, making just 33.3 percent of its final 48 shots.
