Sessions and rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 14 apiece and Ben Gordon had 13 for the Bobcats (6-4), who improved to 5-2 at home. Andrea Bargnani scored 25 points and Kyle Lowry added 21 points and eight assists for Toronto.

Walker drove the lane and converted a three-point play to tie it with 55 seconds left, and after DeRozan made one of two free throws, Sessions' jumper from just inside the top of the key bounced off the front and back of the rim before falling through.

Toronto, which dropped to 1-6 on the road, had five shots for the lead in the final 20 seconds, but Bismack Biyombo and Jeffery Taylor each had key blocks and Bargnani missed an 18-footer at the buzzer.
