Grizzlies 105, Knicks 95: Marc Gasol scored a game-high 24 points and Zach Randolph added 20 points and 15 rebounds as host Memphis handed New York its first loss of the season.

Rudy Gay poured in 17 points while Mike Conley chipped in 16 points and eight assists for the Grizzlies, who extended their overall winning streak to seven games and their home run to 15 contests.

Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points and Raymond Felton added 18 for the Knicks, who fell one win shy of matching their best start since 1993-94.

New York, which trailed 54-49 at the half, got as close as 58-55 with 9:19 remaining in the third quarter. Memphis then pulled away as Gay, Randolph and Tony Allen scored five points apiece during a 19-1 run that created a 77-56 lead.

The Knicks chipped away and got within 93-85 on a jump shot by J.R. Smith with 4:42 left in the fourth. But Randolph converted a layup and Gay buried a 3-pointer to bump the lead to 13 and put away the game.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Grizzlies, who are 6-0 when scoring at least 100 points, are one victory away from matching the longest winning streak in franchise history - an eight-game run from Jan. 11-25, 2004. ... Memphis has not lost at home since March 16 against Toronto in overtime. ... The double-double by Randolph was his eighth in as many games this season. ... The Knicks have not opened 4-0 on the road since 1996-97.
