Thunder 106, Cavaliers 91: Russell Westbrook had 27 points and 10 assists and Kevin Durant scored 26 points as host Oklahoma City won its fourth straight game by downing Cleveland.
Kevin Martin added 16 points and Serge Ibaka had 14 points and a season-high seven blocked shots as the Thunder beat the Cavaliers for just the second time in the last five meetings in Oklahoma City.
Kyrie Irving scored 20 points, Alonzo Gee tallied 18 and Daniel Gibson added 16 for Cleveland, which is 1-4 during the current six-game road trip.
Oklahoma City had an 11-point halftime lead but Cleveland pulled within 76-73 on three free throws by Gibson with two free throws left in the third quarter. Westbrook ended the stanza with a buzzer-beating 30-footer and hit back-to-back 3-pointers to start the fourth quarter to make it a 12-point game.
The Thunder’s lead reached 19 points on a basket by Martin with 2:24 to play. Oklahoma City had five of its 10 blocked shots in the final stanza.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Westbrook was 10-for-16 from the field and made four 3-pointers after shooting just 32.3 percent over the previous four games. … Cleveland made eight of its first 10 field-goal attempts and then went 26-for-73 the rest of the way to finish at 41.0 percent. … Ibaka has 23 blocks and has recorded at least two in all seven of Oklahoma City’s games.
