KNICKS 104, NETS 95:
Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 33 points and Tyson Chandler had a double-double to lead visiting New York to its fourth win in the last five games.

Anthony, who was coming off his second career triple-double against the Celtics on Tuesday, exploded for 27 first-half points, draining all five of his 3-point attempts to give the Knicks a commanding 64-47 lead at the half.

Tyson Chandler was a force inside picking up 18 points and 10 rebounds and J.R. Smith, who dropped 25 points off the bench against Boston on Tuesday, had another strong effort off the pine contributing 15 points and eight boards for New York.

Gerald Wallace returned after missing four games with a leg injury to score a team-high 21 points for New Jersey, which has now dropped three consecutive games.

The Knicks improved to 15-5 under interim coach Mike Woodson.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nets point guard Deron Williams (right calf) didn’t play. … Knicks guard Baron Davis (virus) didn’t play. … Injured Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire (back) was in good spirits pregame, and could return as early as Friday at Cleveland. … New York wins the season series with New Jersey 2-1.
