LAKERS 107, HORNETS 101 (OT): Kobe Bryant scored 33 points and Andrew Bynum piled up 25 points and 18 rebounds as Los Angeles clinched its first three-game road winning streak and handed New Orleans a second straight setback.

Trailing 99-98 with less than a minute left in overtime, Los Angeles got some crunch-time scoring from people other than Bryant and Bynum when Derek Fisher buried the go-ahead jumper. Metta World Peace stole the ball on the other end and raced for a layup, giving the Lakers a three-point cushion with 40 seconds remaining.

Pau Gasol added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers, who have won four straight overall.

The Lakers, who played a double-overtime game at Memphis on Tuesday, looked like a tired team in the first half on Wednesday, allowing the Hornets to shoot 62 percent from the floor. New Orleans led 54-40 at the break.

Whatever energy it had saved up came out in the third quarter as Los Angeles used an 18-6 run through the middle of the period to get back into the game. Bryant and Bynum each had six points during the spurt and the Lakers knotted it at 70-70 heading into the fourth.

Los Angeles trailed for most of the fourth until Gustavo Ayon fouled Bryant on a 3-point attempt with 19 seconds left. The All-Star hit all three free throws, tying it at 93-93.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Hornets shot 43 percent in the second half and overtime. … Jarrett Jack scored 30 points and Chris Kaman added 21 points and 12 assists to lead New Orleans. … Los Angeles committed 19 turnovers, with stars Bryant, Bynum and Gasol accounting for 14.
