GRIZZLIES 100, PISTONS 83: Marc Gasol and O.J. Mayo scored 17 points apiece to lead six players in double figures as host Memphis pulled away in the fourth quarter to extend its winning streak to four games.

Reserve Quincy Pondexter scored eight of his 12 points and Mayo buried a pair of 3-pointers during a 17-0 fourth-quarter run as the Grizzlies beat the Pistons for the fifth consecutive time.

Marreese Speights and Rudy Gay added 16 and 15 points, respectively, to lift Memphis to its eight victory in nine games.

Rodney Stuckey scored 20 points to pace Detroit, which fell to 3-15 on the road after going six minutes without a point in the decisive fourth quarter.

Mayo's 3-pointer put Memphis ahead to stay at 80-78. Pondexter scored five straight points before another 3-pointer by Mayo built the lead to 10 with 3 1/2 minutes to go.

The game had been tight throughout, with the teams tied after one quarter and Detroit holding one-point leads at halftime and at the end of three quarters.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Memphis improved to 11-0 this season when scoring 100 points. ... The Grizzlies' margin of victory during their five-game run over Detroit is 13.8 points. ... Pistons C Greg Monroe had his fifth double-double in six games with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
