MAVERICKS 82, 76ERS 75:
Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 of his 28 points in the second half to rally visiting Dallas to its sixth consecutive victory.

Nowitzki also had 12 rebounds as the injury-depleted Mavericks erased a 14-point halftime deficit by limiting the Sixers to eight points in the third quarter.

Reserve guard Dominique Jones added a season-high 12 points for Dallas, which was without guards Jason Terry, Delonte West and Rodrique Beaubois.

Rookie center Nikola Vucevic scored 16 points and fellow reserve Thaddeus Young had 14 for Philadelphia, which received only 29 points from its starting five.

Following a dreadful opening half in which he missed 11 of 13 shots, Nowitzki came out on fire in the third quarter, scoring 12 points to ignite a 17-2 run that put the Mavericks ahead 54-53.

With the game tied at 63 in the fourth, Nowitzki scored four points and Jason Kidd buried a 3-pointer to cap a 9-0 run.

Vucevic had eight points in the second quarter and sparked a 10-3 run that gave Philadelphia a 51-37 halftime advantage.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dallas was severely shorthanded in the backcourt. Sixth man Terry has been dealing with a quadriceps strain, while West suffered a fractured and dislocated his right ring finger in his last game. Beaubois left the team following the death of his father. ... Sixers C Spencer Hawes missed his sixth straight game with a strained Achilles. Hawes has been sidelined for 16 of the last 18 games and is being sent to Los Angeles to see a specialist.
