Rajon Rondo collected a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds as the Boston Celtics posted a 95-91 victory over the visiting Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

Rondo, who shot 11 for 22 from the floor and 10 for 13 from the line, had little trouble working around backup point guards C.J. Watson and John Lucas III.

Bulls star Derrick Rose sat for the second straight game with back spasms. The NBA's reigning MVP will see a specialist when the team gets back to Chicago on Monday.

Kevin Garnett added 13 points and 12 rebounds and Chris Wilcox chipped in 11 and nine for the Celtics, who snapped a two-game losing skid.

The Celtics pushed the lead to a game-high 14 points (86-72) with a 14-4 run early in the fourth quarter. Rondo had five assists during the burst, including the highlight on the final basket when he lofted an alley-opp to Wilcox in transition.

The Bulls had one last run in them, cutting it back to 91-88 with 1:23 left, but they could not take advantage of two Boston turnovers down the stretch.
Rondo hit four free throws in the final 21 seconds to clinch the win.

Watson ended up with 22 points on 8-of-23 shooting and Carlos Boozer scored 22 for Chicago, which finishes up its nine-game road trip with a 6-3 mark.
