Paul Pierce had a game-high 17 points as the Boston Celtics got out to a quick start and buried the visiting Toronto Raptors 100-64 on Wednesday.

The Celtics shot 62.2 percent from the field and drained seven of 11 three-point attempts to build a 22-point lead at the half and cruise from there. It was a balanced attack, with 12 of their 13 players contributing at least two points.

Toronto struggled without leading scorer Andrea Bargnani, who missed his fourth consecutive game with a calf strain. The Raptors shot 34.2 percent from the field and failed to score more than 19 points in a single quarter.

Jerryd Bayless led Toronto with 14 points while Ed Davis added 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Boston point guard Rajon Rondo sat out his eighth straight game with a wrist injury. The Celtics are 6-2 without him in the lineup.
