Delonte West scored a season-high 25 points and sparked a 3-point barrage as the visiting Dallas Mavericks cruised to their third straight win by routing the Phoenix Suns 122-99 on Monday.

Vince Carter tied his season high with 21 points and Shawn Marion added 20 points as Dallas won for the sixth time in seven games and beat the Suns for the third time this month.

West and Carter each buried five 3-pointers as the Mavericks finished 14 of 27 from behind the arc to flatten Phoenix, which played without point guard and two-time league MVP Steve Nash (thigh).

Marcin Gortat had his 11th double-double in 12 games, collecting 17 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Suns. His 12 straight games with double-digit rebounds is the longest active streak in the league.

The Mavericks used a flurry of 3-pointers to break the game open in the second quarter, getting two apiece from Carter, West and Jason Terry in a 20-7 spurt to take a 66-48 lead into halftime.

West scored 13 points, including all three attempts from long range, as Dallas hit 7 of 8 3-pointers in the second quarter.

Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd missed his second straight game with a calf strain.
