Ray Allen scored 27 points and the host Boston Celtics pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 100-92 victory over the winless Washington Wizards on Monday night.

Washington (0-5) played the majority of the game without coach Flip Saunders, who was ejected after receiving two technical fouls only 1:46 into the contest.

Boston (3-3), which has won three straight, defeated the Wizards 94-86 Sunday night in Washington.

Paul Pierce scored 21 points and rookie center Greg Stiemsma, starting in place of the injured Jermaine O'Neal, added 13 for Boston. Rajon Rondo, who recorded a triple-double Sunday, scored six points with 13assists and seven turnovers.

Andray Blatche scored 28 points while JaVale McGee added 17 for the Wizards.

Washington had been outscored by an average of 13.2 points going into the game, but appeared to be in position for its first win.

The score was tied at 72-all early in the fourth quarter when the Celtics took over. Eleven points by Allen, including three 3-pointers, two baskets by Brandon Bass and a three-point play by Marquis Daniels helped push Boston to a 95-87 lead with 1:30 remaining.

O'Neal missed the game because of a sore left hamstring.
