Austin Daye sparked a late 11-point run as the Detroit Pistons posted an ugly 75-74 victory Saturday over the Phoenix Suns,

Phoenix blew a 15-point third-quarter lead in having their season-high winning streak snapped at five games.

In a game where both clubs struggled on the offensive end, shooting a combined 10 of 37 from the arc, Phoenix rebuilt a 70-62 lead with 3:49 left on a 3-pointer by Steve Nash. But Tayshaun Prince started the decisive Detroit rally with a jumper, Daye drained a 3-pointer and Will Bynum dropped an 18-foot jumper to pull Detroit within 70-69 with 1:39 left.

Vince Carter missed a 3-pointer for Phoenix, Bynum rebounded and Daye drained a jumper off a feed from Prince for the lead with 53 seconds to go. Carter and Grant Hill missed jumpers for Phoenix and Bynum split two free throws with 10 seconds left.

Trailing by three, Phoenix got a free throw from Nash when Rodney Stuckey was called for a foul off the ball before the inbounds. The Suns kept the ball, inbounded to Frye who missed a potential go-ahead 3-pointer with three seconds left.

Frye drained one at the buzzer after Bynum converted two free throws for a four-point lead.

Prince scored 17 for Detroit and added 13 rebounds and five assists.
