LeBron James finished with 18 points and six rebounds and Chris Bosh added 16 and seven as the Miami Heat stifled the Detroit Pistons, 97-72, on Wednesday.

Dwyane Wade struggled with foul trouble throughout but finished with 16 points in 18 minutes for the Heat, who head to Cleveland on Thursday for what is sure to be an emotional homecoming for James and a hostile environment from the fans.

Miami opened it up right from the start on Wednesday, as James poured in 11 points in the first quarter and the Heat took a 29-18 lead after one. They stretched it again in the third quarter, holding the Pistons to nine points in the frame and pushing the lead to 73-51 heading into the final 12 minutes.

Detroit scored only 79 points in a loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday and has reached the 100-point mark just twice in the last nine games.

Greg Monroe scored 15 points off the bench for the Pistons, who did not have a starter reach double figures.
