Rodney Stuckey led the way with 17 points and seven assists and Ben Gordon scored 16 points off the bench as the Detroit Pistons held off the Sacramento Kings, 100-94, on Sunday.

Tayshaun Prince added 14 points and Richard Hamilton chipped in 13 for Detroit, which has won two straight on the road.

The Pistons led, 75-72, at the end of the third quarter and pushed it to 80-72 when Charlie Villanueva scored five straight points to begin the fourth. Sacramento did not fold, however, ripping off a 10-2 run to knot it at 82-82 on Jason Thompson’s tip-in with 7:47 left.

Detroit stretched it back to 96-92 when Prince knocked down a jumper with 1:02 to play and Gordon put the nail in it when his 3-pointer with 24 seconds on the clock made it 99-94.

Tyreke Evans scored 20 points and Carl Landry finished with 19 points and nine rebounds for the Kings, who have dropped five in a row.
