Daniel Gibson scored 10 points in overtime, Antawn Jamison hit a huge 3-pointer late and the Cleveland Cavaliers ended their 26-game losing streak with a 126-119 win at home against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The victory ended the longest losing streak in pro sports history, which the Cavs now share with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Cavs blew an eight point lead late in regulation, but Jamison made sure it wouldn’t get away again in overtime when he drained a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left to give them a 123-119 lead.

Jamison matched a season high with 35 points, J.J. Hickson had 27 points and 14 rebounds, and Mo Williams returned with 17 points and 14 assists in 31 gritty minutes off the bench. Williams had missed the last 13 games with a hip injury and wasn’t even supposed to play, but was a surprise addition to coach Byron Scott’s rotation on Friday morning.

Blake Griffin had 32 points and 13 rebounds and Baron Davis had 26 points, but was ejected for arguing late in the overtime session. The Clippers are now 4-19 on the road.
