Amar’e Stoudemire scored 35 points and Wilson Chandler added 27 and 11 rebounds as the host New York Knicks pulled away from the New Jersey Nets for a 111-100 victory Tuesday night.

The surging Knicks have won seven of their last eight games, and Stoudemire has scored at least 24 points six times during that stretch. New York has won five straight road games but won at Madison Square Garden for the first time since Nov. 5, ending a five-game home skid.

The Knicks trailed, 58-55, at halftime as the Nets rode a huge performance by Brook Lopez, who scored 21 of his season-high 36 points before the break.

But New York took control with a 33-15 third period as Stoudemire scored 12 points, Chandler nine and Raymond Felton eight.

Felton had 21 points and 10 assists for the Knicks, who used all five starters for at least 37 minutes. In Sunday's double-overtime win at Detroit, four starters played at least 50 minutes.

Jordan Farmar scored 17 points off the bench for the Nets.
