Brook Lopez scored 29 points and Devin Harris added 21 while fueling a late rally to lift the New Jersey Nets to a 106-100 victory over the visiting Sacramento Kings on Friday night.

Harris scored six straight points during a 17-3 closing run as the Nets opened the season 2-0 for just the sixth time in franchise history - and the first time since the 2002-03 season.

New Jersey didn't register its second home win last season until Dec. 30.

The Nets trailed by eight points with 3:40 remaining before reeling off the next 13 points to grab a 102-97 lead with 18 seconds left.

Sacramento's Francisco Garcia buried a 3-pointer to slice the deficit to two points with 15 seconds to play, but Jordan Farmar and Travis Outlaw canned two free throws apiece to seal the victory.

Outlaw finished with 18 points and Farmar had 14 for the Nets, who rallied from seven points down with 1:40 to play to beat Detroit in their season opener.

Tyreke Evans and Garcia led a balanced Kings offense with 18 points apiece. Beno Udrih and Carl Landry contributed 14 points each.
