Clippers 119, Spurs 115: Chris Paul collected 22 points and 16 assists as Los Angeles survived DeAndre Jordan’s poor free-throw shooting and turned away visiting San Antonio.

Jordan narrowly missed his third straight 20-20 game with 26 points and 18 rebounds but struggled to 10-of-28 from the line as the Clippers won their third straight game. Jamal Crawford buried five 3-pointers en route to 26 points off the bench and J.J. Redick scored 15 for Los Angeles.

Tim Duncan recorded 30 points and 11 rebounds while Tony Parker added 21 points and 13 assists for the Spurs. Aron Baynes contributed 14 points for San Antonio, which dropped to 2-2 on its nine-game road trip.

The Clippers led 100-93 after Jordan hit a pair of free throws with 8:14 left, but he went 4-of-12 from the line over the next few minutes as the Spurs trimmed the deficit to 105-103. Marco Belinelli’s 3-pointer pulled San Antonio within one with 30.6 seconds left but Paul dribbled the shot clock down and buried a fadeaway jumper with eight seconds remaining before Redick sealed it at the free-throw line.

The Spurs decided to foul Jordan repeatedly late in the second quarter and he ended up 4-of-14 from the line before the break as San Antonio went into the break up 55-52. The lead reached nine points midway through the third quarter before Crawford got hot and drained three 3-pointers in a 19-4 run that gave Los Angeles an 82-78 lead before the advantage slimmed to two points heading to the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Redick is 24-of-24 from the free-throw line over the last 17 games. … Jordan, who went 12-of-26 in his last game, is the first player to have 25 or more free-throw attempts in back-to-back games since Wilt Chamberlain did it in three straight in 1961. … Jordan went 8-of-11 from the field and has hit 50 percent or better in 40 straight games.
