Chris Paul had 25 points and 13 assists and Jamal Crawford added 22 points off the bench as the Clippers finished up a 3-5 road trip. J.J. Redick returned from a three-game layoff due to back spasms to chip in 15 points for Los Angeles, which committed six turnovers.

Charlie Villanueva came off the bench to score a season-high 26 points but Dallas could not overcome the early losses of center Tyson Chandler (ankle) and guard Monta Ellis (hip). Dirk Nowitzki scored 18 points and Chandler Parsons had 16 and a season-high 12 rebounds.

Villanueva hit three 3-pointers en route to 13 first-quarter points and scored early in the second to give Dallas its first lead since the early moments. Paul had a basket, a steal and an assist in a 20-second span to highlight a 14-0 run midway through the second and scored again at the buzzer to put the Clippers up 66-53 at intermission.

Jordan recorded eight points and 10 rebounds in the third quarter alone and had a basket early in the fourth to push the lead to 98-80. Villanueva's fifth 3-pointer pulled the Mavericks within 13 points later in the period, but Los Angeles answered with a quick 6-1 burst and was never threatened again.
